Huvepharma Arena will host Thursday’s football game between Ludogorets and Zalgiris, the two teams who met in the Champions League qualifiers five seasons ago.
Back then Ludogorets eliminated Zalgiris in the double-header, and the Bulgarian champions are once again seen as favourites to win the tie.
Keep in mind, though, that all Yankov, Rick, and Karnicnik are banned for the match as the trio was sent off in the 4-2 Champions League loss to Dinamo Zagreb.
Zalgiris, on the other hand, were not capable of matching Bodo in the CL third qualifying round, and seeing that they often struggle on the travels in European competitions, we are tempted to put our money on the home side.
To make things even worse for the Lithuanian side, defender Petar Mamic misses the first leg through suspension. In their last meeting at the venue Ludogorets crushed Zalgiris 4-1.
